About Bisson Services
Bisson Services is an Orleans tree service owned by Phil Bisson and working since 2012. It removes dead, dying and dangerous trees, prunes, grinds stumps, chips brush on site and trims cedar hedges across east Ottawa and Prescott-Russell, in English and French, with a 24-hour emergency line.
A tree service based in Orleans, founded in 2012 and owned by Phil Bisson. It takes down trees of every size, including large trees close to houses, fences and lines, working in sections from a bucket truck or with a crane, then hauls the logs away and leaves the site clean. The same crew grinds the stumps afterwards and chips brush and limbs on site. It prunes trees from the low limbs to the tops of mature ones, and trims cedar hedges and shrubs, usually twice a year, cleaning up every clipping. Dead, dying or dangerous trees can be called in day or night on the 24-hour emergency line; regular hours are every day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Estimates are free and on site, and service is in English and French. It works across Ottawa, with Orleans, Gloucester, Navan and Cumberland named on its site, and east through Prescott-Russell to towns such as Rockland, Embrun, Hawkesbury and Cornwall.

Before you hire
What should you check before hiring a tree service in Ottawa?
Removing a tree in Ottawa can require a permit under the City's Tree Protection By-law, and compensation may be owed depending on the tree. This is the one trade where hiring without checking the by-law can put the property owner in breach. Ottawa Service Directory is a listings site, not a regulator: we publish what a business reports about itself, so confirm what applies to your job with the source below and with Bisson Services before work starts.
